Dr Heidi McKenzie is a Brisbane‑based GP known for her warm, thoughtful, and relationship‑centred approach to care. Originally from the south‑west of Western Australia, Heidi’s early experiences in close‑knit regional communities shaped her belief in practical, grounded, person‑focused medicine — an ethos that continues to guide her work today.
After completing her medical training at the University of Sydney and working across major Sydney hospitals, Heidi relocated to Brisbane in 2012. She has practised as a GP since 2014 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Heidi provides comprehensive care across all stages of life, with particular expertise in veteran health, chronic pain, musculoskeletal medicine, mental health, neurodiversity, women’s health, peri‑menopause, preventive health, and metabolic medicine. She is particularly skilled in supporting people with complex care needs, offering calm, capable guidance through challenging health journeys.
Above all, Dr McKenzie is dedicated to providing high‑quality, personalised, long‑term care. She believes deeply in continuity, context, and genuine human connection — and in the profound impact a trusted GP can have on the health, stability, and wellbeing of individuals and families across every stage of life.
