At Brisbane GP, we believe in providing high-quality healthcare with clear and transparent fees. We offer mixed billing, with bulk billing available for eligible patients (Please read eligibility below our fees list). Our team will always advise you of any fees before your appointment.

A standard consultation will usually cover the discussion of one main issue, examination, prescriptions, test results and referrals. This cost is the same for both Telehealth and Face to Face appointments

A long consultation will usually cover multiple concerns and issues, chronic condition management & complex health concerns. We also strongly encourage New patients to book a long consult as their initial as complex health histories, medications and other conditions do take some time to go over.

Please note, to be eligible for a Medicare rebate you need a valid Mental Health Care Plan and Referral and to be eligible for a concessional rate you must have a valid Centrelink issued Health care Card or Concession Card. DVA Card holders are Bulk Billed.

Bulk Billing Eligibility

At Brisbane GP, we offer bulk billing to patients who meet specific eligibility criteria. Bulk billing is available for patients with a valid Centrelink-issued Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card, children under 16 years old with a valid Medicare card, and holders of a DVA Gold Card. Patients with a DVA White Card may also be eligible, depending on the condition covered. All other patients will be required to pay privately, with Medicare rebates available where applicable. 

Bulk billing applies to eligible GP consultations only. Psychology services are privately billed. Medicare rebates may be available for psychology sessions with a valid referral or Mental Health Care Plan - Please see above for specific fees.

Cancellation Policy

At Brisbane GP & Telehealth Clinic, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and appointments may need to be changed. To ensure we can continue providing timely care to all our patients, we kindly ask that you provide notice if you are unable to attend your appointment.

General Practitioner (GP) Appointments

  • Cancellations or reschedules require at least 4 hours’ notice.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

Psychology Appointments

  • Cancellations or reschedules require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

We appreciate your understanding, as late cancellations and missed appointments impact other patients who may need an appointment.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact our reception team by phone or through your booking platform as soon as possible. 

FAQ’s

  • Yes, payment is required on the day of your appointment. For Telehealths for new patients a Pre-Authorisation is required to be able to book a telehealth appointment. Medicare rebates can be processed immediately.

  • Yes, telehealth fees are the same as our standard consultation fees.

  • We offer bulk billing for patients who hold a valid Centrelink-issued Concession Card, DVA card, or for children under 16 years of age. All other patients are charged a private fee; however, if you have a valid Medicare card, your rebate can be processed on the spot so you receive your refund quickly.

  • No, we do not accept private health or overseas cover, but we can print you a receipt of payment for you to present to your Insurance.
